We provide psychological services for children ages 3-17. Services include play therapy (ages 3-12), behavioral interventions, anxiety treatment, and emotional regulation support.
For younger children (3-8), parents typically attend part of each session for consultation. For older children and teens (9-17), sessions are usually individual with periodic parent consultation.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes, which may include time with the child and time with parents. Initial assessments are 90 minutes.
Yes. Child psychology sessions are covered by Medicare with a GP Mental Health Care Plan (up to 10 sessions per calendar year).
